1Edge is a floating window app, and it’s immensely functional
Once you set this app up, you’ll be able to swipe inwards from the side, and activate it. Even if you use navigation gestures on your phone, this gesture works great every time. Well, at least it did for me. The floating window that pops up is customizable. You can add and remove apps, contacts, and more. There are a number of pages you can add, and each of them can be dedicated to different shortcuts/functionality.
It allows you to launch apps, track your water intake & ever read the news
The first page can be for your apps, the second for contacts, the third for water drinking reminders, the fourth can be a stopwatch, and so on. 1Edge actually has a custom water drinking reminder widget of sorts, the same goes for the stopwatch, and so on. There are a couple of additional tools here. You can even read news from this edge panel, actually. The point is, 1Edge is really functional. The sheer amount of shortcuts and content, in general, you can squeeze into it is outstanding. It may take some time for you to set it up, but it’ll be worth it. Just make sure to hit the white indicator when you’re swiping, and calling upon 1Edge won’t be an issue. There are also some additional customization options available in the settings. You can change the bar color and height, mess with the margins, set up your vibration preferences, and more.
It’s completely free to use
And no, there are no ads included here, and you’re not required to pay up for extra functionality. 1Edge is completely free to download and use. So, feel free to check it out, and see if it works for you. 1Edge app (Google Play Store)
