The Galaxy S22 Ultra renders appear in four color, along with the phone’s specs
If you take a look at the gallery below the article, you’ll see the device in black, white, pink, and green color options. Samsung will, without a doubt, use fancy names for those color options though. These renders only confirm the design we’ve seen a number of times thus far. The Galaxy S22 Ultra will look significantly different in comparison to the Galaxy S22 and S22+. It will look more like the Galaxy Note 20. Its top and bottom sides will be flat, while its front and back sides will be proportional. It will have a new camera layout on the back, different than its siblings. An S Pen stylus will be a part of the package as well, and it will be docked inside the phone. The device will feature a curved display, and a centered display camera hole at the top of the display. Its bezels will be very thin, of course.
A 6.8-inch 120Hz display will be included, along with Gorilla Glass Victus+
That being said, this handset will have really powerful specs. It will feature a 6.8-inch 2X Dynamic AMOLED display with QHD+ (3088 x 1440) resolution. That will be a 120Hz LTPO panel (it will be able to switch between 1Hz and 120Hz refresh rate). The Gorilla Glass Victus+ will protect it. A 108-megapixel Super Clear Lens main camera will be used, along with a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera. Two 10-megapixel telephoto cameras will also be included on the back, and they will offer 3x and 10x optical support. The phone’s camera will also support 12-bit HDR recording, and auto-frame rate support. The S Pen latency will be 2.8ms, which is the lowest thus far. The phone will measure 163.3 x 77.9 x 8.9mm, and weigh 228 grams. It will be IP68 certified for water and dust resistance.
The phone will also have a large battery, and support 45W charging
A 5,000mAh battery was also mentioned, and the same goes for 45W wired charging. 15W wireless charging will also be supported though, and the device will include stereo speakers. Those speakers will be tuned by AKG, and will support Dolby Atmos. Android 12 will come pre-installed on the Galaxy S22 Ultra, along with One UI 4.1. It is worth noting that the source also mentioned ‘Armor Aluminum Frame’ for the device. The Galaxy S22 series will likely launch in early February. February 8 and 9 have been tipped, so chances are the launch event will take place on one of those two days.
