The Galaxy S22 Ultra & S23 Ultra get side-by-side comparison
The tipster actually published four different images via Twitter, comparing various aspects of the two phones. Let’s start with a full look at the front sides of the two phones. That image is included below.
As you can see, the two phones are immensely similar. If you do take a closer look, though, you’ll notice that the one on the right has a thinner bottom bezel. The difference is easy to see. The Galaxy S23 Ultra is actually said to come with the thinnest bottom bezel of any Galaxy S phone in history. The image below this paragraph will give you an even closer look at the bottom sides of the two phones, though this time around the Galaxy S23 Ultra is on the left. You can easily spot the difference.
Here are the exact bezel measurements
The tipster even went as far as sharing the exact measurements of the bottom bezel, and the side bezel. You can see that in the image below.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra’s bottom bezel will measure 1.9mm, vs 2.6mm on the Galaxy S22 Ultra. That is without the frame in the picture. With the frame, the two phones’ bezels will measure 2.9 and 3.6mm, respectively. The side bezels, including the frame, will measure 2.4mm on the Galaxy S23 Ultra, while they are slightly thinner on the Galaxy S22 Ultra at 2.3mm, it would seem. That is a difference that is basically impossible to see with the naked eye. The very last image the tipster shared shows us the camera setups side-by-side. The Galaxy S23 Ultra’s cameras will be a bit larger overall, as expected. You can see the difference below. The Galaxy S23 Ultra is actually tipped to utilize a 200MP main camera, but we’ll see how accurate that info is.
