The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra got certified by the FCC
This tablet appeared on the FCC website with a model number SM-X900, and FCC ID A3LSMX900. The listing confirms that the tablet will support WiFi 6E, and Bluetooth LE. That’s pretty much it. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will be the only tablet in the series with a display notch. It will also be the only one to sport a gigantic 14.6-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz display. It is said to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, along with either 8GB or 16GB of RAM. On top of that, the tablet will arrive in several storage options, going up to 512GB. An 11,200mAh battery will be included in order to power that huge display, and all the other powerful internals. Android 12 is said to come pre-installed, along with One UI 4.1 skin. This tablet will have two cameras on both its back and its front. On the back, 13 and 6-megapixel cameras will be located, while two 12-megapixel units will sit on the front.
This tablet will be really large
Previously-leaked information also confirmed the size of this thing. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will be the largest tablet in the series, by far, as it will measure 326.4 x 208.6 x 5.5mm, and weigh 728 grams. Samsung is planning to launch three tablets in the series. The Galaxy Tab S8, S8+, and S8 Ultra are coming. All three of these are tipped to launch on February 9, alongside the Galaxy S22 series. Samsung did confirm that the Galaxy S22 series is coming, but the company still didn’t reveal the launch date. February 9 has been mentioned several times thus far, so we’re going to assume that info is correct.
