Motorola is all set to unveil the 2022 version of the Motorola Razr 2022 on August 11, which is just a day after the Unpacked event where Samsung will unveil its 2022 Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 foldable smartphones. It would be interesting to see all the new features and improvements, the Motorola Razr 2022 packs in. It is critical because it will compete with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. Lenovo China’s GM for mobile, Chen Jin, revealed via his Weibo profile that the company will unveil the Motorola Razr 2022 on August 11, alongside two other devices. The other two devices will notably be the Moto X30 Pro, which is the company’s newest flagship, and a new smartphone called the Moto S30 Pro. All these devices were to be unveiled at an event in China on August 2. However, because of some unavoidable circumstances, Motorola cancelled the event 2 hours prior. The reasons for the postponement weren’t mentioned.

Do note that the upcoming phones, i.e., the Motorola Razr 2022, Moto X30 Pro, and Moto S30 Pro, will officially make their debut on Thursday, only in China. There is no information on when Motorola plans to bring these devices to other regions. While you may be excited about the Motorola Razr 2022, recent leaks suggest that there are only a few elements of surprise in the bag. Notably, the foldable is expected to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The Motorola Razr 2022 will be paired with 18GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage. There will be a dual-camera setup on the back comprising 50MP and 13MP cameras. The 13MP secondary camera will double as an ultrawide and macro camera. For selfies, Motorola is packing a 32MP camera. The Motorola X30 Pro will also be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. It will be coupled with 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage. Well, the USP of the device would be the 200MP Samsung’s ISOCELL HP1 sensor, making it the first smartphone to breach the 200MP camera mark.
