New LG earbuds offer head tracking tech from Dolby
The LG Tone Free T90 earbuds are kind of more interesting due to the head tracking tech. They also feature Dolby’s 360 audio feature, by the way. These earbuds can recalibrate sounds as you move your head, hence the head tracking tech. On top of everything, LG said that the Tone Free T90’s are the first earbuds to offer an audio virtualizer that Dolby designed for the form factor. It should expand “spatial dimensionality”, and thus offer a more immersive listening experience. These earbuds offer up to nine hours of use, without adaptive ANC (Active Noise Cancellation). Turning that feature on will lower battery life considerably, of course. The Tone Free TF8 (also known as the Tone Free Fit) are fitness-focused earbuds, the first of their kind from LG. As you can see, these come with wing tips to make them safely in your ears. They’re designed to handle all sorts of sports activities.
The company’s fitness-focused earbuds offer up to 10 hours of play time
LG also bragged about the battery life on these earbuds. They offer up to 10 hours of play time, but without hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). The battery life will take a hit if you end up using it. Both of these earbuds come with a feature that kills 99.9-percent of bacteria using UV-C light. The Tone Free T90 earbuds even come with medical-grade, hypoallergenic ear gels. It’s also worth saying that their charging/carrying cases are not particularly small, as you can see in the provided images. LG announced that both pairs of earbuds will become available in the US in September. Unfortunately, we still don’t have any price info on either of these earbuds. LG Tone Free T90: LG Tone Free TF8:
