The OPPO Find X5 Lite is more or less a rebranded Reno7 handset
The OPPO Find X5 Lite is essentially a rebranded Reno7 that launched in India last month. Unlike the OPPO Pad, this phone didn’t launch in China only. It will actually be available globally alongside its X5 siblings. The OPPO Find X5 Lite has a display camera hole in the top-left corner, and its bottom bezel is considerably thicker than the rest. Its backplate is curved towards the sides, while you will notice three cameras on the back.
It includes a 90Hz display, and the Dimensity 900 SoC
The device features a 6.43-inch fullHD+ (2340 x 1080) AMOLED display. That is a 90Hz display, which is protected by the Gorilla Glass 5. Its brightness gets up to 800 nits maximum. The MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC fuels this smartphone, and that is a 6nm processor. The company packed in 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM here, along with 256GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage. This is a dual SIM smartphone, and it comes with Android 11 out of the box, and ColorOS 12 on top of it. A 4,500mAh battery is also included in the package, and it supports 65W SuperVOOC fast wired charging. Wireless charging is not supported.
There are three cameras included on its back
A 64-megapixel main camera (f/1.7 aperture) is backed by an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera (f/2.25 aperture). A 2-megapixel camera (f/2.4 aperture) also sits on the back of the phone. A single 32-megapixel camera (Sony’s IMX615 sensor, f/2.4 aperture) can be found on the front. OPPO also included an optical in-display fingerprint scanner here. A 3.5mm headphone jack is a part of the package, and the device is IP54 certified for water and dust resistance. 5G connectivity is supported, and so is Bluetooth 5.2. The phone measures 160.6 x 73.2 x 7.81mm, and weighs 173 grams. It comes in Starlight Black and Startrails Blue colors, and it’s priced at €480. The phone will go on sale starting next month… in Europe.
