The Pixel 6a will get the same official case as its siblings
We’re talking about the company’s relatively thin plastic case. That plastic case essentially replaced the company’s fabric case. People mostly loved that fabric case, but Google decided to scrap it, and replace it with this. Google didn’t exactly release an official confirmation this will happen, per se, but that case did pop up in the company’s promo video. It appeared in ‘The Design of Google Pixel 6a’ promo video, which is embedded below. The case appears at an 18-second mark in the video, and a white case is shown here. Based on the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, chances are we’ll get this case in three colors, the colors of the Pixel 6a. That basically means you’ll get black, green, and white cases for the Charcoal, Sage, and Chalk Pixel 6a models. Those three phone models are essentially black, green, and white, but Google likes to use fancy names.
That case will almost certainly cost $29
The case in question costs $29 for the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, it’s not included in the box. Chances are that the same price tag will be in play for the Pixel 6a case as well. Do note that the Pixel 6a case is still not listed on the Google Store. That’s not surprising, as the Pixel 6a will become official at the end of July. So, chances are that the case will be listed then, or shortly before. The Pixel 6a will go on pre-order on July 21, while you’ll be able to purchase it on July 28. The phone will become available in 13 countries, a lot more than its predecessor, which was limited to two countries.
