Sony isn’t just rehashing the gray camo though. This isn’t exactly the same design you’ve seen on past accessories or console units. This time around Sony has freshened up the design a bit. Though things look the same at a glance, there’s actually now little groups of the PlayStation shapes woven into the camouflage. Just like the ones you see on the back of the DualSense. Visually this appears to be the only real noticeable change.

The PS5 Gray Camo collection will be available via early access

Officially Sony is launching the new collection from October 14. But the company isn’t dropping everything everywhere right away. Starting from October 14 the DualSense Wireless controller in Gray Camo will be available via early access on PlayStation Direct. It’ll later launch the DualSense at retailers on October 28. The Console Covers in Gray Camo will be available on October 14 as well. However, they will be exclusive to PlayStation Direct. And if you’re looking to scoop up the Gray Camo Pulse 3D Wireless Headset, you’ll have to wait till December for that. Sony also states that the early access will be limited to certain regions. This includes the US, UK, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Netherlands, and Belgium. Sony hasn’t mentioned any official pricing. But costs should be around the same as other colors of these products. So expect around $69-$79 for the DualSense, around $99 for the Pulse 3D Wireless headset, and around $55 for the Console Cover. At least coming officially from Sony and other retailers. Excluding third-party sellers, of course.
