According to 9To5Google, when Google introduced the June feature drop, it said that users will be able to eventually see the AQI, which is always a good thing to have. This is especially true if you live in certain cities.
Now, the At a Glance widget finally shows the quality of air
The AQI on the At a Glance widget has already rolled out, so you should be able to see if the air goes bad now. The AQI will appear right next to the weather, and it will remain visible until the air returns to normal quality. You’ll see a dot right next to the weather, right next to that, you’ll see a number. That number is the actual index, and it will go up as the quality of the air deteriorates. You’ll be able to keep track of the quality of the air in real-time. The only issue is that the widget will only show the index when the air quality gets to a certain point. It would be nice to have it remain consistent. This way, you can monitor the quality and know if it’s getting bad so you can make the proper preparations.
The At a Glance widget shows the feed from your Nest camera
A new feature that’s just come to the At a Glance widget is perfect for Nest Doorbell users. When you get a notification from your Nest Doorbell, you’ll see a feed right on the widget. That’s useful to see who’s at the door without having to go into the app. Also, since it goes through the At a Glance widget, you’ll also be able to see the video feed on your lock screen. You won’t even need to unlock your phone to see the feed.
