The Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro rugged tablet arrives with MIL-STD-810H certification
This tablet does have that rugged design that is easily recognizable. It comes with MIL-STD-810H certification, which means it can withstand extreme altitudes, temperatures, humidity, and vibrations. On top of that, this table can also handle drops of up to 1m. If you include a protective cover, that is included in the retail box, it’ll be able to handle drops from up to 1.2m. This tablet also comes with a built-in S Pen, and is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance. The S Pen is also IP68 certified. Android 12 comes pre-installed on it, with Samsung’s custom UI on top of it (One UI 4). Do note that the tablet is promised to get three major Android OS updates, and five years of security updates.
It includes a 10.1-inch display, and the Snapdragon 778G SoC
The Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro features a 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 WUXGA PLS TFT LCD display. Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 is included to protect this display, by the way.
The Snapdragon 778G fuels the phone, while 4GB/6GB of RAM is included on the inside. Those two RAM models come with 64GB and 128GB of expandable storage, respectively. You can expand storage to include an additional 1TB via a microSD card. A removable 7,600mAh battery is also a part of the package, and fast charging via POGO pins is also included. This tablet offers a hybrid dual SIM setup, which means it has two nano SIM card slots, one of which can be used to expand its storage via a microSD card. There is no separate microSD card slot. A 13-megapixel main camera (f/1.9 aperture) is included on the back. An 8-megapixel unit (f/2.0) sits on the phone’s front side. Dual microphones are a part of the package, as is Dolby Atmos support.
5G support is included, as is Bluetooth 5.2
Bluetooth 5.2 is included here, and there is a Type-C USB 3.2 port on offer here. The tablet does support 5G connectivity. It measures 242.9 x 170.2 x 10.2mm, while it weighs 674 grams. This tablet comes in a single color, black, and its pricing starts at €829 ($831) for the 6GB RAM model. It will go on sale in early September in parts of Europe. It will also arrive in Asia, Latin America, North America, and the Middle East. That will happen later this year.
