Two new rugged Ulefone smartphones are coming on November 1
Both of them are shown in the provided images. Both have a waterdrop display notch, flat displays, and that rugged look. They do offer a different look overall, though, at least when you flip them around.
Ulefone Armor 17 Pro
Let’s talk about the Armor 17 Pro first, shall we. This handset is closer to a regular smartphone design-wise, a little bit. It is IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810G certified. So, not only is it water and dust resistant, but it can take a hit as well. A 6.58-inch display is included here, and that’s a fullHD+ panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Gorilla Glass 5 protects that display, while the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC fuels the phone. Ulefone included 8GB of RAM here, along with 256GB of storage. A 108-megapixel main camera is also included, and “IR night vision camera 2.0” by the company. Android 12 comes pre-installed on the device, and it seems like the phone can magnetically attach to a charger, and charge wirelessly. We’ll find out more about it soon.
Ulefone Power Armor 18T
The Ulefone Power Armor 18T, on the other hand, comes with an integrated thermal camera. That camera is powered by FLIR Lepton 3.5. The phone is IP68, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810G certified, just like the other device. A 6.58-inch display is included here as well, and it’s also a fullHD+ panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. That panel is protected by the Gorilla Glass 5. The MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC fuels the phone. Ulefone included 12GB of RAM here, along with 256GB of storage. A 9,600mAh battery is also included in the package, while the phone supports 66W fast charging. It also comes with a 108-megapixel main camera, and a 32-megapixel selfie unit. The Power Armor 18T offers a uSmart Expansion port, so it can connect to various tools such as an endoscope, night vision camera, and so on. Android 12 comes pre-installed here as well.
Giveaway
Ulefone also announced a giveaway. The company will be giving away Armor 17 Pro and Power Armor 18T devices. On top of that, Ulefone is also offering a total of $2,000 in cash-back rewards to 80 lucky winners. There will be eight $50 cash-back rewards, twenty $30 cash-back rewards, and fifty $20 cash-back rewards. The company announced that the giveaway ends on October 31.
