Vivo V23 Pro specifications
The Vivo V23 Pro is the more premium model of the two. It sports a 6.56-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 2376 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is an HDR10+ certified panel. While more and more phones are moving to the punch-hole design, Vivo has added a wide notch on this phone. It houses two front-facing cameras for selfies and videos. We have a 50-megapixel F/2.0 camera with eye autofocus as well as an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with a 105-degree field of view (FoV). At the back, we have a triple camera setup consisting of a 108-megapixel primary camera with PDAF (phase detection autofocus). There’s also an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with a 120-degree field of view and a 2-megapixel macro camera for close-up shots. Photography features include 4K selfie video, AI HD portrait, Super Night Video, and Ultra Stabilization. Powering the Vivo V23 Pro is MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200 processor. The company is offering the phone with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The device packs a 4,300mAh battery with 44W fast charging. Other key features include SA/NSA dual-mode 5G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band Wi-Fi, an under-display optical fingerprint scanner. The phone runs Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12 out of the box.
Vivo V23 5G specifications
The Vivo V23 5G is slightly lesser-specced than the Pro model. The display is a flat panel and is also marginally smaller at 6.44-inch. It is still an AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution though. The centered notch exists on this model as well, housing the same set of front-facing cameras. Vivo has, however, replaced the 108-megapixel primary rear camera with a 64-megapixel sensor. It does retain PDAF. The other two rear cameras also remain unchanged. This phone also offers most of the camera features found on the Vivo V23 Pro. While the V23 5G also gets up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, Vivo has switched to the Dimensity 90 processor on this phone. A smaller size means the device packs a slightly smaller, 4,200mAh battery but does get 44W fast charging. The rest of the specs remain largely unchanged, including the under-display optical fingerprint scanner and SA/NSA dual-mode 5G connectivity.
