The Vivo X80 flagship smartphone series to launch on April 25
That being said, we’re expecting three smartphones to become official during that event. The Vivo X80, X80 Pro, and X80 Pro+ will allegedly launch. The latter will be the most powerful out of the bunch, of course. That being said, the Vivo X80 Pro+ specifications did also surface, well, some of them. The phone appeared on Geekbench, a benchmarking website. This listing basically confirmed that the Vivo X80 Pro+ will include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
We’ve all expected that, as Vivo’s flagships usually use Snapdragon’s most powerful chips. It remains to be seen what will the Vivo X80 and X80 Pro feature, though. Those two phones may utilize MediaTek chips, the Vivo X70 and X70 Pro did.
The Vivo X80 Pro+ appeared on Geekbench
Geekbench also revealed that the Vivo X80 Pro+ will include 12GB of RAM and ship with Android 12 out of the box. Vivo’s Funtouch OS will be included on top of Google’s operating system, of course. Also, there may be more than one RAM variant of the phone, it remains to be seen. All three of those phones are expected to be made out of metal and glass, though a special variant with Vegan Leather back may become available, at least as far as the Vivo X80 Pro+ is concerned. The Vivo X80 Pro+ is expected to utilize a 6.78-inch QHD+ LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display, which will be curved. The phone is also tipped to feature truly powerful cameras, with ZEISS lenses, and much more. The Vivo X70 Pro+ still has some of the best cameras on the market, so the expectations are high for its successor.
