WhatsApp will offer you a chance to undelete a message you’ve deleted
So, how does it work? Well, after you delete a message you sent, a toast message will appear at the bottom, with a single option. That info will tell you that your message has been deleted, while offering you an undo button. IMAGE Hitting that undo button will, of course, reverse the action. Do note that the undo button will be gone in just a few seconds, along with the toast message. So, you have only a few seconds to change your mind. Some other messaging apps have the same feature, though not that many of them. This has been a highly-requested feature from WhatsApp for years now. I’ve personally seen people asking for it several times across Reddit. WhatsApp is finally bringing it forth. We still don’t know how long will it take to reach the stable channel, though.
There is a chance it won’t make it to a stable channel, but that’s highly unlikely
Do note that there’s always a chance it will never reach the stable channel, but that’s highly unlikely. This isn’t one of those odd features that WhatsApp is testing for the sake of it. It’s actually a highly-requested one, so it’s almost guaranteed to reach the stable level. WhatsApp remains one of the most popular messaging services out there. It is owned by Facebook now, and it has been that way for years. Facebook not only owns WhatsApp, but its own Messenger messaging service as well, which is also immensely popular.
